Discovering, Exploring, and Creating!
Toddler Rooms: Toddler A. and 2T Toddlers
Circle Time has two toddler classrooms. These rooms are separated by age group to help keep your child happy and safe throughout the school day. Both classrooms teach a wide verity of material preparing your toddler for the next area of development.
One of my favorite things about Circle Time is our small classroom sizes. So often you enter a center and there are 12 infants and toddlers sharing the same space. I often think to myself… How? How can a caregiver provide quality care to all of these youngsters at the same time? That is why I have a classroom limit of 8 children.
All daily experiences are taught through exploring their surroundings and hands on fun experiences. We want toddlers to learn organically through their school day. In both toddler rooms we spend our days learning through play and enjoying new activities. Toddlerhood is a time for exploration and creativity; we promote this through hands on activities. Children between the ages of 13- 30 months are learning vocabulary, hand eye coordination, and self-esteem.
Toddler A. is for children just leaving the infant room-18months.
This classroom is an introduction into toddlerhood. The children are becoming mobile and eager to learn and explore the world around them. This classroom gives them the opportunity to explore in a safe fun way. Toddler A is our smallest room, we do not allow more than 4 children in this room per day. Team members create a lesson plan that will allow your little one to learn about the world around them. Each day we participate in: Story time, song singing, arts & crafts, block building and pretend play.
2T Toddlers are children 19 months-30 months.
These toddlers are a bit older and ready to learn new things. The 2T room we have created a fun environment for your children to explore. We allow 8 children per day giving the students opportunities to succeed. Team members have created a lesson plan that will allow your toddler to learn about the world around them and increase insight in their newly developed interests.
